The Economic Development Strategy of the cities in the Helsinki Metropolitan Area embraces the economic development policies as well as the areas and procedures that the cities plan and implement jointly.
The joint policies aim at promotion of new business generation and growth, and support of competitive clusters and cooperation between clusters. They aim at furthering of internationalisation and investment in international projects and enterprises.

Greater Helsinki Promotion
A publicly funded company supporting international professionals and companies by promoting all that the region has to offer. Greater Helsinki is made up of four cities; Espoo, Helsinki, Kauniainen and Vantaa; and their surrounding municipalities, represented by the Uusimaa Regional Council.
