Libraries

The city libraries of Helsinki, Espoo, Vantaa and Kauniainen together make up the network of the Helsinki Metropolitan Area Libraries (HelMet). The HelMet Libraries have a joint online service, joint user regulations and joint fees.

The material in the HelMet library is for the shared use of all inhabitants of the Helsinki Metropolitan Area through the HelMet catalogue database. It is also possible to borrow material from the regional book depository in Pasila and the recordings repository in Tikkurila.
