On Christmas Eve, 24 December, a Saturday service will operate. Services will cease almost entirely around 3.30pm. Commuter trains will run until around 5.30pm. Suomenlinna ferry will operate normally until the end of Saturday service.
Those Helsinki internal Jouko routes that usually serve on Saturdays, will operate a normal Saturday service. Helsinki internal bus 11 will not operate on Christmas Eve.
There will be additional service to cemeteries. Bus 55X will provide additional service to Hietaniemi from Rautatientori approximately from 10.30am to 4pm.
Those going to the Honkanummi cemetery can take bus 732 from Rautatientori platform 10. Bus 732B has additional departures every 20 minutes from Helsinki from 9.30am to 2.50pm and from Honkanummi from 10am to 3.20pm.Vantaa internal bus goes to Honkanummi and Ruskeasanta cemeteries.
Kellonummi cemetery in Espoo is served by bus 86H from Espoon keskus and bus 96H from Leppävaara.
On Christmas Day, 25 December, service will begin around 11am. Suomenlinna ferry will start service at the normal on Chrismas Day morning.
Helsinki internal services will run on Sunday timetables. Elsewhere in the region only some of the buses will be running and they will operate less frequently than usually. Commuter trains will operate a reduced Sunday service on Christmas Day until around 11am after which they will operate a normal Sunday service.
On Boxing Day, a Sunday service will operate.
Early morning buses will not operate at Christmas.

Trams will operate a reduced service between Christmas and Epiphany. Helsinki internal buses 67X and 68X will be out of service until Epiphany.
